Abstract: Holly Preissmann scheme is improved and the scheme used for the minus velocity is added by use of the undetermined coefficient method. Based on the above, a new numerical scheme for the conservative convection equation is developed. Calculation results of the new scheme are found agreeable with the exact results. So the scheme is practical.
